Comfortable Vs. Content
Dear dreamer,
Are you seeking contentment or comfort? The first is hard to achieve, while the other can take over our lives easily. Heres the difference....
Comfortable is a destination Contentment is a journey Comfortable says, “No more.” Contentment says, “I have enough.” A person who is comfortable feels stuck A person who is content feels whole Comfortable means settling Contentment means enjoying Comfortable leads to boredom Contentment leads to progress Comfortable is a feeling Contentment is a choice
In order to achieve our goals we must be willing to leave our comfort zone. Once we do that we realize we are no longer seeking comfort but contentment. We look at life and begin to appreciate each season for what it is while we continue to grow. So, dreamer when you begin your journey to achieving greatness remember what you are truly seeking. Here are some important questions to ask as you move from comfort to contentment.
1. Am I living life or watching it happen around me?
2. Am I still willing to grow and make changes to better myself?
3. When was the last time I moved out of my comfort zone?
4. Do I believe that I am still worthy with or without this achievement?
5. Do I feel challenged or pressured?
6. Do I believe I am enough and worth the extra effort?
7. What are my biggest fears for moving forward? How can I work towards overcoming them?
8. Do I look at others and admire them or feel resentment?
