Selling Do's and Don'ts

SAVE THIS FOR LATER

Guys, I had so many misconceptions about selling. It honestly left a bad taste in my mouth (anyone else?‍) UNTIL I learned what sales is really all about. ⁣

Selling does not look like being ❌pushy, cheesy, presumptuous or negative.⁣

Selling does look like...⁣

Listening more than you speak ⁣

⁣Before you jump into your sales pitch make sure your client feels heard and understood. “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” -John Maxwell

Making a genuine connection ⁣

⁣Don’t be presumptuous or pretend to have the answers when you don’t. Focus on being positive and exploring all the benefits your service has to offer.

Preparing for any response ⁣

Sometimes things don’t work out and that’s okay. Try to plan in advance your response to a number of scenarios. This way you can share your service clearly and effectively with out any “umm or uhh,” responses.

Following-up ⁣

Always follow up! A good tip if you have someone on the fence is to send an A and B option in your proposal email. Sometimes people need a taste of what it’s like to work with you before moving on to a larger package.

Sharing your service confidently and enthusiastically ⁣

⁣I want you to sell like you would share your favorite Netflix show with a friend! ⁣Don’t be ashamed of your services or prices.
